Our Story
Caroline and Kyle’s story began in August of 2023, helping Caroline’s sister, Abby, and brother-in-law, TJ, as they moved into their new home with their baby, Auggie.
They crossed paths as they helped unload Abby and TJ’s belongings from the moving van, but it was only a short encounter.
Soon after, they were formally introduced at Auggie’s first birthday party. Though they didn’t speak much, Kyle took this opportunity to ingratiate himself with Caroline’s father, earning him major brownie points with the Platt family.
The relationship flourished over the coming weeks through game nights and other events hosted by Abby and TJ. Eventually, Kyle mustered up the courage and asked Caroline to their first date on September 23, 2023. They bonded over their love for history, nerdy lore, and shared dread of the legal profession.
