We're Gettting Married!

We met halfway through a UCF Hillel Birthright trip to Israel. I didn't think much of our first conversation, which was about cards, but I still thought he was brave for choosing such a boring topic! Over the next few days we got closer and traveled across Israel together, all while I was incredibly sick. He took care of me and tried to make sure I had the best experience possible. We both coached each other to the top of Mt.Masada at 4am and it was at that moment we knew we wanted to have as many adventures as possible together.

We planned a trip to New York to visit some family and friends at the end of July. We had spent the day riding the Staten Island Ferry and walking around Central Park. He had enlisted the help of our family and friends to set up a proposal spot in Central Park by the carousel. He tried to play it off and we wound up walking 25 blocks out of the way to see a castle I was dying to look at. He led us back to this spot where there was a blanket laid out with a heart of rose petals and a bottle of sparkling wine. He gave a brief speech and the only part I remember is him saying "I want to spend the rest of my life with you". I immediately kissed him, completely forgetting to take the ring or even say yes until a few hours later! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
