Matt grew up in San Antonio, TX but moved to NY when he began working at Warwick Bethel in 2014. He worked on the Grounds Maintenance crew, and mowed more grass than anyone thought possible. His hobbies include playing guitar, pondering which tea he should try next, and someday, model train building. Most dogs love him, save for Bruno, the Vaz's dog. Matt knew he loved Izzy when she kindly offered to take a bullet for him. (He didn't take her up on the offer.)

Izzy has lived her entire life in the sleepy town of Vernon, NJ. She's made herself available to pioneer since 2016, has experienced the joy of commuting to Bethel, and took on the task of joining the Arabic field in 2019. She has the ability (according to Matt) to bring a smile to almost anyone's face (Matt's especially), and dazzling people with her vast knowledge of Star Trek. She knew she loved Matt when he tried to explain both space and time to her, using only a whiteboard, a marker, and a rough sketch of Bruno.
Patrick Stewart
Groomsman
Matt met Pat during his time in Grounds Maintenance at Warwick Bethel. They clicked off the bat, possibly because they both love hard work for the Lord, or possibly because they both love Obi Wan Kenobi. We still don't know. Either way, Pat has been a great friend through the years.
Shae Conn

Izzy and Shae met when Shae's family moved to Warwick from Maryland in 2015. The two clicked off the bat, due to their shared affinity for little art museums, jazz music, stop motion animation films, and good breakfast food. From travelling, to Bethel, to general shenanigans, the girls have been inseparable since.
Molly Vaz
Bridesmaid
Molly is Izzy's older (and smaller) sister. What she lacks in inches, she makes up for in wedding planning supportiveness. She's been there for all of Matt and Izzy's relationship, and has rooted for them the whole time. The two have been partners in crime from day one, like a wink and a smile (Molly's the wink, Izzy's the smile).
Jared Hagerman

Matt and Jared met working together on the Grounds Maintenance crew at Warwick Bethel. Though they were always friends, their bond was truly solidified in Spain, when they learned to cook paella from an old Spanish woman. Neither life has ever been the same since.
