Are kids invited?

We love your kids - we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please let us know if you need recommendations for babysitting services in Steamboat.

How do I get to and from the ceremony?

Answer

You will take the gondola to the Thunderhead Lawn at Steamboat Ski Resort. The gondola is free for all wedding guests. When you get off at the top of the mountain, walk directly out onto the lawn where you will see signs guiding you to the ceremony site. The reception will take place in the Thunderhead Lodge, only a few feet from the ceremony site.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes.

What if it rains?

Answer

The weather can be very unpredictable in Steamboat! We encourage everyone to pack a jacket and be prepared for whatever weather may occur. If it is raining at the time of the ceremony, we will delay the start. All guests will be able to wait inside while the storm passes.
