There is parking available, however we hope none of you plan to drive.

What should i wear, Is there a dress code?
Answer
The theme is "Sexy Beach". Even though the wedding starts later at night, it's still going to be hot, and we realise that there will be an army of Shetlanders attending. So we are not expecting anyone to wear a suit, in fact, Pete would take quite an offence to it. On this occasion, less is more! Whether its speedos, loafers, straw hats, or nipple tassels - as long as you're happy, then so are we. If that's not your thing though, just wear something dressy that you're going to feel sexy and comfortable in to party the night away.

Due to the location, time and expected behaviour of guests (lol) we are trying to keep the event an adult-only affair :-)

What will the weather be this time of year?
Answer
The average high in June is 26ºC and things stay nice and pleasant at night too. At 22ºC, the sea’s great for swimming! With the wedding being at the very end of the month expect it to be slightly hotter. There is very little rain in June so even tho it's very unlikely it's possible the odd shower may occur when you're on the island.

Is the ceremony and reception taking place at the same venue?
Answer
Yes! As soon as you arrive at the venue you can let your hair down as you're there for the whole shebang.

Are there any other events being planned around the big day that guests can attend?
Answer
We don't intend on making your whole trip about *us* but it would be awesome to hang out, so we will no doubt try and get a few casual gatherings arranged. If you wanna get involved just drop us a message when you have landed and we will make it happen.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
November the 30th, otherwise you will feel the wrath of Natters. It is super helpful for us to know definite numbers by then but if for whatever reason you are still unable to say for sure, can you please let us know. Otherwise, if we get no response we will assume that you can't make it, and we'd like to print out a picture of your face and attach it to the wedding dart board.

If for whatever reason i decide to make my own way to the venue or i am late and miss the transport to the wedding, what do i do?
Answer
We would definitely advise you pre-book a taxi as it can be very hard to hail one on the street. We will include phone numbers that our wedding planner recommends. If you arrive late, you will be relentlessly mocked for your epic 2,000 mile last minute travel fail.
