We met on a trip with mutual friends, we had a blast over the long weekend and then headed back to different cities (Pittsburgh and New York City). We continued to talk, text and visit over the next few months and eventually we both realized that this could definitely be something special.

We are always up for the next adventure so when we saw the chance to visit Iceland, we couldn't pass it up. We were in small village called Arnarstapi on the southern side of Snæfellsnes, Iceland. I walked ahead to check out the view on one of the cliffs overlooking the ocean and when I turned around PJ was down on one knee with a huge smile on his face and a very PJ- like proposal of "So what do you think?"

We were married in a small ceremony at Lake Louise in Banff National Park surrounded by our immediate families.
