Making Lemonade from Lemons

We have decided to move forward with getting legally married in a small ceremony this summer with our parents and siblings. However, we will be throwing a big party next fall for our 10 year anniversary in Delaware, Ohio! Look out for updated invites next spring and get ready to party!

We care about the health and well being of those that we love. Due to the amount of people traveling from out of state, and the current health concerns with covid-19, we are still figuring out what is the best plan moving forward. Jessica and Perry met during the first day of classes of Jessica's first year/ Perry's second year at Bowling Green State University. The class was starting one of those "get to know you" games and neither Perry nor Jessica had a partner! Thankfully, they locked eyes and decided to partner up. From then on, they no longer paid much attention to English lectures. A wonderful friendship grew into a beautiful relationship.. Every year following they grew along with the other, having adventures and discovering new things about themselves and the world around them.. Almost 7 years later, Jessica and Perry went on a vacation to the smoky mountains with Jessica's family. The whole family spent their first day in the mountains hiking to the highest point of the smokies, and then driving down to see the sunset from the cliffside. As the sun set, Perry took Jessica to the side to check out a pretty view... ...at the perfect moment, he dropped down to one knee and asked the big question! Of course, Jessica said YES! and not only did she get to finally be engaged to her favorite person in the whole world, but she got to immediately celebrate with her family who was anxiously waiting only a few feet away! All because of one of those cheesy Get To Know You games.
