Maid of Honor
Emily and Janie first met in the 5th grade. Their friendship began with sleep overs and Friday skate nights but quickly developed into a sisterhood that would last through it all. After 15 years of friendship, 18 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, and countless nights talking till 3 AM, it is safe to say that Janie knows Emily better than anyone. Janie’s kind soul, loyalty to those she loves, and ability to find the good in everything/everyone are just a few things Emily admires about Janie. Emily is beyond lucky to call Janie not only her best friend and sister, but also her Maid of Honor.
Best Man
From the beginning, PJ and Dean were inseparable. PJ was bored the first couple years of his life, so to say he was excited to get a younger brother was an understatement. PJ taught Dean how to walk, crawl, talk, and steal cookies from the cookie jar. PJ’s favorite years of school were the ones that he would share with Dean. It is custom to have a brother as a best man; however, even if Dean was not PJ’s brother, he would be his best man because Dean has been his best friend since day one.
Bridesmaid
Emily met Lexi at one of their lip sync rehearsals for Kappa Delta, when Emily laughed at a joke Lexi made. Then Lexi asked “what are you laughing at?” in the most sarcastic way possible. After that night, the rest is quite literally history. The memories made in college with Lexi are some of Emily’s favorite. If you want a good story, ask one of them about Junior year homecoming. Since that day, Lexi has become Emily’s BFF. You can find them having weekly wine nights; laughing uncontrollably, talking about absolutely nothing and everything at the same time, or discussing past, present, and future accomplishments and goals.
Groomsman
PJ first met Nick when he was 8 years old and instantly hit it off due to their love for video games. They would play "NHL '05" and "James Bond Golden Eye" for hours on PS2. Nick lived in V.A. while PJ lived in C.T., so they didn’t see each other much, which was hard for PJ because he looked up to Nick as a role model. When PJ found out he was moving to VA and going to be close to Nick, he was pumped to be in the same zip code as his older brother. Up until now PJ would not be where he is today without Nick’s guidance in life.

Mae Mae! The girl who Emily met online to live with her Junior year and then just got into Emily’s car the first time they were meeting. Although a little odd of a start, Emily and Mae’s friendship only got stronger from there. Their nightly conversations that went over just about every subject you can imagine, staying up till 4 AM writing papers due the next morning and getting margaritas at Chuy’s are just a few of their favorite memories! Mae is the best listener, is always there with a shoulder to cry on when life knocks you down, and is the first person to pop a bottle of champagne when it’s time to celebrate. Thank you for being the best roommate and friend, Mae Mae!
Groomsmen
Dan When PJ met Dan, he knew he found a lifelong friend from their love of sports, games, and flannels. One game you can find them playing is speed golf (a game created by PJ and observed by Dan). Even though PJ is a DC fan and Dan is a Philly fan, they find comfort in “discussing” whose team is worse. PJ is thrilled to gain Dan as a brother! Billy When PJ first met Billy it was an instant bond. Their shared sarcasm and love for DC sports made their friendship easy and one that would last. They never had a hard time hanging out, watching a football game, or enjoying a basket of wings. Billy was called home to Heaven on May 11, 2021. When it came to picking groomsmen, PJ felt it was absolutely necessary to include his heavenly brother. You are missed and loved everyday, Billy.

Emily first met Dana at their neighborhood dog park. A friendship that began with Emily trying to steal Dana’s dog, King Louis, shortly turned into Dana calling Emily to come over to kill spiders in her apartment, 6 AM workouts at F45, conversations about their faith, and frequent FaceTime calls for advice. Although their friendship only began a couple years ago, Emily feels so incredibly blessed to not only call Dana her friend but her family.
Groomsman
PJ and Cheech first met at church. PJ was desperate to have Cheech as his friend because of his outgoing, funny, and contagious personality. PJ and Cheech were also captains on their lacrosse team in high school and PJ looked up to Cheech not only as a player but also as a leader. PJ had a blast visiting Cheech in Philly due to their shared love for Cheesesteaks, and nothing beats a Philly Cheesesteak.
Bridesmaid
A friendship that began in music 101 evolved into founding members of the GMU Kappa Delta chapter (Lisa’s idea) and then into a forever friendship. Lisa and Emily refer to each other as their forever friend. A friend that, no matter the distance between them or the amount of time spent apart, will last forever. Thank you Lisa for the late night chats, the game nights, the adventure that was snowboarding (or sliding down a snow covered mountain on our butts) and the hundreds of memories that have yet to come.
Groomsman
PJ and Robbie first met when they were both 10 years old. PJ knew he needed to be friends with Nick because of their shared love for Lacrosse and Jesus. PJ and Robbie both got confirmed together and were both captains of their varsity lacrosse team senior year of high school. PJ loved visiting Robbie at his house in Philly to enjoy pizza and Italian ice.
Bridesmaid
Although they were sorority sisters first, Dana and Emily’s friendship truly began when they happened to run into each other on campus. A quick conversation led to a lunch to catch up and eventually winery dates in the spring, brunch on weekends, and a lot of pictures taken… "for the mems", of course. Dana’s constant encouragement has made such an impact on Emily and she could not be more grateful for the friend Dana is.
Groomsman
PJ first met Josiah during freshman year of college and instantly connected due to Josiah’s laid back and funny personality. Oh and of course, his homeless outfits. An invite from Josiah, asking PJ to join him for Easter one year turned into a yearly tradition where PJ was blessed by Josiah’s family’s Christ like hospitality and love. PJ and Josiah have shared many wonderful memories, one being the Drake concert they attended at Capital One Arena where they had floor seats. It was a night to remember just like their friendship.
Bridesmaid
Kelli and Emily grew up best friends. Playdates in elementary school, vacations together in middle school, Friday night football games in High school, and trips between Virginia/Colorado in college and after are among some of their favorites times spent together. Kelli and Emily have lived states apart for 7 years now but nothing has stopped them from being there for the other when they needed them most.
Groomsman
PJ first met Chubbs during their freshman year of college. PJ was walking around campus and accidentally ran into him sitting on a couch that Chubbs had just retrieved from the dumpster. Instantly, a friendship was born because of his care free attitude. PJ loved going home with Chubbs, because of spending time with a wonderful friend (and the delicious Southern comfort food). PJ and Chubbs' friendship has only grown since college, so much so that PJ had the honor of being Chubbs' best man at his wedding.
