Scene: A piano lab full of Music Major Freshman with the first of many daunting tasks ahead, the C Major scale. For some, like Shannon, this task is among the least of their worries compared to the many other obstacles that lie ahead. For others, such as Chris, this is the first giant mountain (besides those of Mansfield University campus) that he will have to scale to get through his college career. Destiny drove them to sit next to each other on that first day of class, allowing Shannon to take pity on the dude in distress beside her. After a firm "request" to allow her to assist him, they made their way to a practice room piano and hashed out the scale together. This was their first conquest as a team and from that moment on they were inseparable. Though it would be two and a half years until they would officially recognize their love, they shared many moments that make their bond today so strong. Together, this fated pair traversed the mountainous obstacles that Mansfield had to offer and have become the beautiful couple we will celebrate on May 28th, 2022.
