Float the Boise River!
Have a free morning/afternoon? Partake in an iconic Boise tradition! Floating the Boise river is one of our favorite summer past-times! The entrance point to float is located in Barber Park and ends at Ann Morrison Park. Barber Park offers a rental shop to get everything you need for a great float. Also, Jacob and Michelle own a two-person tube with oars and would be more than happy to lend it to you for a float!
Walk the Boise River Greenbelt
There's no better place in Boise to go for a nice walk! This is a paved trail that follows along the Boise River through downtown Boise.
White Rafter Rafting on the Payette!
Looking for an adrenaline rush? Cascade Raft & Kayak is located just 45 minutes north of Boise, along the Payette River. Family run, professional, family-oriented – they have adventures for all skill levels and ages. This is one of our favorite summer activities!
Kirkham Hot Springs
There is nothing like experiencing hot springs in Idaho! We love Kirkham in particular because it is a completely natural hot spring filled with pools of water ranging from lukewarm to very hot, and it's right on the side of a beautiful river! Kirkham is located about 1.5 miles outside of Boise, so if you'd like to go plan for a bit of a drive!
