William and Erin got to know each other through a close group of friends formed within their church community. There were several moments when William felt pulled to Erin. From the first time seeing her and how beautiful she was, to small moments where her kindness towards her friends and strangers seemed so naturally displayed, William knew she was special. Then he noticed her sense of humor. One particular moment was in a Waffle House where William was able to see Erin's humor in its fullness. No one had made him laugh so quickly and joyfully. But more than anything else, Erin's convictions for truth rooted in Scripture, fear of the Lord, and deep love for Christ convinced William that he had the opportunity (blessing) of a lifetime. Although she was not aware, William decided that he was going to marry her, or give everything he had trying. Through countless prayers, many pep talks, and no small amount of charm, he asked Erin out on a date. And she said yes! Already being fast friends, they grew closer and closer with each layer that was revealed. Their humor was so unmatched that it probably made others a little concerned. They quickly learned how to push each other with grace and truth, and most importantly, they naturally filled a role in each other's lives that God used to bring healing, encouragement, and sanctification. Erin and William have seen each other in their hurt and happiness. They went through seasons that tested their patience and affections, but the result showed that their love and longing for each other only grew with the hardship. It was not long before they decided to commit to one another for life, and by God's grace, they are now eagerly waiting to share their vows in the eyes of God and their loved ones. Their desire is to play an active role in each other's walk with Christ and, within their marriage and family, create a life-long mission for the Gospel.
