We first met when Patrick started working at the South Fayette Starbucks location where I had been working for a couple of months already. We were both pretty regular closers and spent a lot of time working together and getting to know one another. Eventually, Patrick moved away to Pigeon Forge but came back a few months later. We picked up the friendship right where we left off. After a year of working at that Starbucks location, I had the opportunity to move to Florida for six months and take part in the Disney College Program. Once I moved back home after my program, I began working at the North Fayetteville Starbucks location - where Patrick had transferred permanently. We went right back to closing together again and spent a lot of time together outside of work as well. After that, the rest is history!

In March of 2018, Patrick and I had planned a week-long trip to Walt Disney World that September. To be completely honest, I thought that he was going to propose there. Not long after we booked the trip, I started dropping hints. Little did I know, he had already been ring shopping and had one already! That same month, I was working and Patrick came to pick me up. He ended up not being able to wait any longer, got down on one knee, and proposed right in the very Starbucks we fell in love! Talk about full circle.
