Go visit NYC for the day! Taking the train from the Derby/Shelton MTA stop which is close to Shelton hotels. If you take the Derby/Shelton train note you will need to transfer in Bridgeport to get to Metra-North to Grand Central. If you are staying or visiting New Haven at all there is an MTA stop in New Haven that goes straight to Grand Central.
