Dan and Ryan, brothers of both blood and principle, have been lifelong companions since Ryan drew his first breath. As the ever-dutiful older brother, Dan enjoys fond memories of growing up together, learning to share literally everything, and teaching Ryan how to jump higher in Super Mario Brothers. They share a home with Dan's new sister, Ashley, and their two dogs, Zoe and Mabel. A interesting memory they recently discussed was about the time their family was kicked out of a Discovery Zone. While playing in the ball pit, an older kid was bullying our young Ryan. Unsurprisingly, Dan bopped him good, resulting in a heated discussion among the adults. Suffice it to say, we became a Safari Sam's family that night. Today, Dan is a reclusive nihilist who works as a court report writer at the Summit Academy. He spends his free time playing videogames, reading, and curating exceptional media for his household.
Brianna Pickel
Matron of Honor
Brianna is Ashley’s cousin and Matron of Honor. Their friendship began in the early 90’s and grew over many years of birthday sleepovers and dress up dance parties. Ashley was Brianna’s Maid of Honor when she got married in 2019 to her husband Joe. Brianna works at Kirkland’s and has an obsession with home decor, crafting, and her two Australian Shepherds. Francesca Marino
Friend of Honor
Francesca is Ashley’s longest friend. Ashley and Francesca met at just 4 years old when she asked if Francesca and her family would come over for dinner after the first day of preschool and they have been friends ever since. Francesca moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2015 where she is a software engineer. She is so happy to be able to be back in Pennsylvania to celebrate Ashley’s special day with her and her family. Brandon "Blue" Reno

Ryan and Brandon aka “Blue” have been best friends for well over half of their lives now. They first met and bonded in the 7th grade while shouting Tenacious D lyrics at the top of their lungs while their poor mothers car pooled them home from football practice. Their list of inside jokes, that are literally not funny to anyone BUT them, is longer than a football field. Brandon enjoys lifting weights, music, playing Halo with the boys, and riling up Ryan and Ashley’s dogs any chance he gets. Jen first met Ashley and Ryan one chilly March night in 2019 at The Beacon in Renfrew through mutual friends. Ashley and Jen talked each other’s faces off that night and have been inseparable ever since. Jen considers Ash her “sister from another mister”! Jen is a makeup enthusiast, loves traveling, concerts, kayaking and cooking for her friends and family (Especially tiny sandwiches… If you know, you know). If you want to make her laugh, bring your best dad joke to the conversation!

Jesse and Ryan’s bromance runs deep - so deep that Sarah and Ashley became best friends by bonding over being “number twos” when they’re together. Jesse enjoys a good campfire, putzing around on his motorcycle and playing video games when he has the time. He’s happy to have a chat about how he brews his mead if you’re looking for a conversation starter!

Sarah be-bopped into the happy couple’s lives a few years ago at the St. Patrick’s Day parade downtown. She set up camp and never left, and now she’s one of the many friends who have become family. Ryan and Gary met when he became friends with Ryan’s brother Dan in the 4th grade! They got along from the beginning bonding over their love of video games and WWF action figures. Gary was at the Pistachio house all the time and truly feels like Ryan and Dan are brothers to him. Some of his favorite memories of Ryan include playing football and basketball together, going to China Banquet and the movies on Sundays but most of all, watching Ryan become the man he is today. A funny memory that Gary has is when he and Ryan were in the old barn at his place on Shaffer Rd and Dan was looking in the window but we couldn’t see him. Gary looked out the window and all he saw was someone looking at him which made him scream like a little girl and then Ryan screamed too. They were always convinced a bum lived in the barn. Gary’s hobbies include watching footballs and playing fantasy football, coaching his kids in sports which keeps him busy because he and his wife have 6 kids! He also loves Tupac and collecting Funk Pop. Fun fact about Gary, he had the game winning shot in a FFA basketball championship game in 10thgrade (Ryan and Dan were there to witness it).

Nick has the great pleasure of being the best brother Ashley ever hoped for. During his free time he likes to watch movies, play sports and video games, and make Ashley’s life more difficult than it needs to be.

Christina has the unfortunate task of being the girlfriend of Ashley’s brother, Nick. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen, going to the gym, watching Friends for the 10th time, reading, and playing video games.

Brian was introduced to Ryan and Ashley by his girlfriend, Jen (Maid of Honor). Ryan fell for Brian's southern charm and they have been bros ever since. You can often find them at Ryan's bar tasting their latest craft beer find. Brian loves hiking, kayaking, and is an avid Hot Wheels collector. He may look tough but he's a big softy and isn't ashamed to admit he freaking loves cupcakes... especially the fluffy pink ones!

Jennifer is Ashley's cousin and their relationship developed throughout the years as they attended family functions. They both are quick witted and always have a comeback ready to go, that's a common family trait. Aaron met Ryan when he was on top of him …on the football field way back in elementary or was it high school or was it a baseball field. Who can remember that long ago. After high school they became really close friends, coworkers, and beer drinkers! If you had Verizon wireless around the year 2010 chances are Ryan or Aaron sold you the latest Blackberry. Aaron was there the night Ryan first met Ashley that cold New Year’s Eve, little did he know that their relationship would blossom into a lifetime together. As they both enter the next phase of life, Ryan with Ashley, and Aaron with Katie’s Couch, Aaron looks forward to what lies ahead. Now, Aaron has his CDL and drives a Peterbilt around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you see him passing by, just pump your arm and he’ll give ya the ole hooter tooter. Other wise you’ll probably find him hanging out with Ryan ripping shots and farts by the fire or beating his candy ass at Mario kart.

Katie Couch met Ryan and Ashley through her fiancé Aaron. He is the tall handsome Viking looking fella in the bridal party. Katie holds a job as a school counselor but legend has it she can get rip roarin on upward of 77 beers. Couch enjoys koozies, going to goodwill, bankrupting casinos, responding in movie quotes and talking in funny voices. She is Pittsburgh born & raised and if you get enough Coors Light in her, you might get to hear her yinzer accent! She believes 3 things are forever.... diamonds, Ric Flair and Ashley & Ryan WOOOO!!!

Rob and Ryan have been friends since everyone knew Ryan and Dan as Kaboom & Kabaam. They have worked almost every single job they have ever had together somehow at 3 different companies. They coined the phrases “jawsome” and “cool brand”, and are unbeatable and beer pong as Team Jawsome. Ryan also has lost to Rob in a high kick competition. They’ll forever been known as “brothers who look like the drummer from the band Boston"

Jewel met Ashley through mutual friends and it was only a matter of time the two became close, as they share the same love for dance, music and most importantly, drinking and eating.Jewel and Ashley even worked together for a while! Jewel remembers the first time she met Ashley at Brewfest and Ashley was confident that she would make Ryan hers...and that she did! Jewel has a 5 year-old Charley, who may look nothing like her but has her intense personality and clumsiness. Jewel loves to entertain and sings in a motown band called Grandview Soul (you can find Ashley getting down on the dance floor from time to time) If you want to strike up a conversation with Jewel, just start talking about your favorite taco bell order and tito's.

Marty met all the laurel boys back in the day and went on his first adult vacation with everyone and it's been a beer drinking bromance since. He brought Katie into the group as a wedding date on their first date. He loves bromances, long walks on the beach, drinking beers with his boys and being the life of the party! He only throws bangers and has the best speaker collection. Katie is slowly turning him into a Laurel boy as well with his new truck and 45. His puke and rally game is not on point.

Katie jumped in and met Ashley and Ryan at a wedding on a first date with Marty! It's been nothing but love and friendships since then and the friend group just keeps expanding! We've all been through so many laughs and tears the last few years! She loves hiking, fishing, kayaking, traveling and double fisting drinks when she said she isn't going to go hard. Her puke and rally game is on point, so don't challenge her to a drinking contest, but if you see her drinking a beer, it's already too late. There's nothing that Katie hates more than a bromance.

Derek and Ryan met each other through Ryan's brother Dan when Derek started driving and would go to their house and hang out . Their relationship goes beyond friendship as they are considered brothers. Derek likes to collect and watch movies to which he currently owns 2,377 movies and counting. He also enjoys playing video games and playing softball.
