We’re Getting Married!

We met through mutual friends and Megan’s younger brother. This is Tyler’s favorite story to tell because he gets to tell people “yeah we met at hooters!”..... I promise its not what you think. The day of Megan’s brother’s graduation we went and got a celebratory lunch. Megan’s cousin came and celebrated with us. While we were having lunch Megan’s cousin’s boyfriend said he was going out with his friends to hooters so we decided to go hang out with everyone as well. Off we went to hooters and met with everyone in the parking lot before going in. So low and behold yes we did meet at hooters.

Around Christmas time I always want to go look at all the beautiful lights. We had planned to go to the Stone Zoo to walk through and look at the lights with his family when his brother was home for the holidays. It was definitely cold but absolutely amazing. They had these life sized lego animals along with a few real animals that could handle being out in the cold. When we got to the end we took a picture with everyone, then Tyler asked to get a picture just the two of us. When we were getting ready for the picture he kept telling me how much he loved me and I kept saying I know I love you too. Before I knew it he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. Obviously I said oh my god yes!
