PLEASE use uber or lyft - It would be a good idea to book your trips in advance, ESPECIALLY for getting to the ceremony in order to be there on time. PLEASE DO NOT drive, as there will be no parking for all the guests, since the wedding is taking place on private property. If this is an issue or there are any questions regarding this please reach out to Jess or Mark.
The ceremony will take place at 3:30pm. PLEASE plan to arrive early, as traveling to the cabin and ubers/lyfts could take some time.
There will be time given, by the officiant, at the beginning of the ceremony for photos, after which we ask everyone to please silence all electronics and enjoy the ceremony! Our photographer is wonderful and will capture everything :) For the reception, however, photos and videos are welcomed and encouraged!
For this time of year in Upstate New York, we suggest layers, as it will be warm during the day and cooler in the evening. Men are welcome to wear suits or sports jackets and pants and women are welcome to wear dresses or dressy pants. Please wear something you are comfortable in! We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun!
There will be no plus ones unless previously discussed with the couple and included in the invitations.
The bride and groom would kindly prefer you to find a sitter and come and enjoy yourselves! If this is not a possibility for you, however, they are more than welcome. If you do plan to bring your kids, please let Mark or Jess know so they can be prepared.
For the wedding reception, there will be an open bar. For the wedding shower / rehearsal dinner, however, it will be BYOB.
