We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! The only children attending are those who are part of our immediate family. If anyone needs help with making arrangements for child care, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
We will have busses to and from the Venue on the night of the wedding. The pickup and drop off points will be determined once we figure out where everyone is staying.
Great question! Wedding ceremony is about a 5-10 minute walk from the reception venue, so we highly recommend shoes that will get you there and back comfortably. Although during the day it can be warm or even hot, September nights can get chilly. As part of the celebration is outside, we highly encourage bringing some warmer layers with you. As far as official dress code - we've landed on "Mountain chic", to be interpreted freely (read suspenders, bolo ties, boots, sundresses). We just want everyone to feel comfortable and be able to dance until midnight, whatever it is you wear.
If you haven't rented a car and you're not staying within walking distance, it's a very bike friendly area. There are also buses that cover most areas of the valley. Bus information can be found below, and there's an app as well (Mountain Rides). The blue and red routes are the only two that run in the summer, but cover Ketchum, Elkhorn, Sun Valley, and Warm Springs with other routes that go south to Hailey. https://www.mountainrides.org/bus-routes-schedules-overview/#1489003189478-30aa3ec3-c5de
