Joe and Pippa met at Power Plant Live's PBR bar. If you are reading that and thinking, "That doesn't sound like Joe or Pippa," you would be correct. Both had each gone out of their comfort zones that night and tagged along with friends. Little did they know their friends were friends, and Joe and Pippa were soon introduced while watching a dear friend attempt to ride an electric bull. There was dancing, there was bad singing, and the night ended with Pippa giving Joe her number. It took Pippa some time, but Joe's persistence paid off and the two soon met up for dessert. Joe won Pippa over with his appreciation for Taylor Swift, and the rest as they say is history.

Joe and Pippa were preparing to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. Pippa came home after a long day of work to find Joe dressed in his Sunday best cooking one of Pippa's favorite meals. For anyone who knows Joe it's not uncommon for him to insist on wearing fancy clothes any chance he gets, so Pippa wasn't suspicious. Not yet. She was, however, exhausted. That didn't stop her from noticing that Joe had closed the blinds to the back deck. But the succulents! How were they to get their evening sun with the blinds closed? Before Joe could stop her, Pippa pulled back the blinds. Only then did she see Joe had beautifully decorated the back deck (cue the suspicions). After eating a lovely al fresco dinner, Joe handed Pippa her anniversary present. A printed off paper detailing a deal he'd gotten on dance lessons. On the bottom of the sheet, Joe had written: "So I don't embarrass us during our 1st dance." Next thing Pippa knew, Joe was on one knee proposing. Neither remember what was said except for "YES!" Now as the day draws closer Pippa and Joe cannot imagine celebrating their day without all of you! See you in B'more!
