COVID-19

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding due to the COVID-19 virus. However, we are excited to still get married on that day. We will be livestreaming the ceremony for our guests to watch. We want to thank you all so much for your love and support during this difficult time.

Our Story

From the Lake to the Mountains

June 8th, 2014 - The Meeting. It was a hot summer day and Jess really wanted to be on a boat. Fortunately, family friends invited her out on Saratoga Lake. As the boat slowly crept into Sandy Bay, Jess spotted a group of guys playing floating Kan Jam (she is a Kan Jam champ). Hours earlier, Andy and his friends were trying to find the perfect spot to set up for the day. Their goal was to be the center of attention... obviously, it worked. Jess immediately shouted out to them and asked if she could join. The rest is history. June 27th, 2014 - The First Date. Andy picked Jess up after work to head to their Delmonico's dinner reservation. Jess made a negative comment about the driver in front of them for having a big Boston Red Sox sticker on the back of his car. Andy told her to look in the back - he had a similar sticker on his back window. At that moment, Jess thought she had ruined any chance with Andy. September 23rd, 2018 - The Engagement. Jess and Andy (mostly Jess) had been postponing hiking their first Colorado 14-er for nearly 3 months. Finally, the day had come. They had woken up at 4:00 a.m. and begun their journey to Mount Bierstadt. Pit stops had to be made, but eventually they made it to the trailhead and were optimistic about the beautiful views at the top. After hiking to a false summit, the two had lost their momentum. However, they continued to trek on. At times, Jess literally thought she might die and was asking Andy questions about how the ambulance would get to her at the top of a mountain. After several long, grueling hours, they had made it to the summit of Mount Bierstadt. Andy got down on one knee and asked Jess to marry him. On the way down, Jess told every single person that passed by them about the engagement. It was the happiest day of their lives!
