They met on a college trip to Washington D.C. with a college class. They had a mutal friend that was also on the trip, and she introduced them. They got to know each other, and it was like it was meant to be! Shout out to Jillian!

It was Tobias that asked Piper out to go on a date when they back to Illinois. It was planned over text message to meet at Tequila's in Harrisburg. That's where Tobias ask Piper to be his girlfriend, they were both smitten from the very beginning!

There they were, again, on the trip to Washington, D.C. No one had any idea that it was going to happen. It was the 2nd to last day of being in D.C. They were doing one of Piper's favorite things to do while in D.C., Monuments at Night. It was then that they made it to the Lincoln Memorial, right in front of thousands of people, where Tobias proposed to Piper on the top steps of the memorial. The crowd went WILD!
