Samantha and I started at Whitford within six weeks of each other. We clicked immediately. We have shared some amazing adventures together. Have you seen the world's largest wind chime with your best friend? If not, I recommend it highly. This girl is the best person to take on a road trip. She tackles any challenge thrown her way and insists on adding more to her plate. I'm honored to have her stand by my side today.

Mike is the oldest of us three brothers. He is my guidance. He once told me when he wanted an answer he would think WWMD, and trust me, that doesn’t stand for “What Would Mark Do”. Well, I do the same. He's a big reason I am who I am.

Emily is one of those people you can have the deep conversations with. I have known her since she was a little girl. We are family we chose. She gives good conversation and advice. She has a very infectious laugh and can always be counted on to jump down the rabbit hole. We have traveled together, cried together and celebrated life's victories together. It's been a priviledge to be a part of her life.

Darrell, or should I say Mr. Carefree? I can say I get a little jealous sometimes of my future brother-in-law. Hunting, fishing, and hitting the bar whenever you want. What a life to have! We are just hoping all seasons for game are closed on August 17th.

What can I say about Cait? I remember asking Sammy if she talks. Of course, that was long ago and far away. Turns out, she does talk. It's more of a trick getting her to shut up. If you want to go to Ocean City, Maryland, there is no one better to go with. Cait is a ride or die girl...as long as she is home in bed by 10. She is the only 85 year old I know trapped in a 26 year old body. She is sweet and caring and I'm lucky to count her as one of my best friends. There is no one else I would rather have pepper me with questions.

Chris is the baby of my kids. He is a ball of energy and cannot sit still. This boy has not only aged me but has kept me feeling young. He is always up for a prank but can also take it when the joke’s on him. Having him stand up as a groomsman makes me proud, but I will be watching for this prankster.

Devin is my niece. She has been a determined force to be reckoned with since birth and shows no signs of this changing. I am proud of the woman you are today and love that you are with us today. ❤️

Nick is my oldest boy but middle child. I remember as a child Nick would give up a crayon or toy because the other child didn’t have one. He was always a bit shy but just wanted things to be fair. Now that he is older he still has that same compassion just not as shy. Maybe we can get him to make a speech. He has a heart of gold and I am thrilled he is going to be part of our special day.

Desi, My oldest and only daughter. This girl never had a chance with me as the father. I will say being overprotected may have made her who she is today. The day she moved out I thought no way, she’ll be back. Well I was wrong. From that day on she has done it on her own. Being able to have her in the bridal party is glorious.

Sal, in my opinion, is the person who has been happiest for us. It is awesome that he can be part of our wedding day. His charisma bleeds off when you are around him. I can honestly say I am happy to be in his circle of friends.

Jessica hired me at Whitford thus allowing me to develop my Whitford family and be the benefactor of some close friendships and bonds. Jess has been a big supporter and great friend. She can come up with the best team building ideas and is an amazing cook. I'm proud to call her one of my close friends. I love Jess and her tenacity and can-do, all-go, no-quit, see the hill, take the hill attitude. My days would be emptier without her in them.

Emerson is the son of Darrell's best friend DJ. I have always called DJ my brother from another mother. I've known him since he was 3 so it's fitting now that Emerson would stand with us and be our ring bearer.

What can I say about my beloved father? He worked tirelessly for his family. He also knows how to enjoy life. You cannot hear him laugh and not join in. He is determined to walk me down that aisle and that makes me so happy. It takes a special man to raise a child he did not give birth to but he never made me feel any less than 100% his. I love you, Dad.
