Semi-formal attire is a dress code that sits between casual and formal, offering a balance of elegance and comfort. For men, this usually means a suit or blazer with dress pants, a dress shirt, and optionally a tie, while women can opt for a cocktail dress, a smart pantsuit, or a midi/maxi dress.

We have hired a professional photographer who requested that there be no use of phones during our ceremony and our first dance as she will be capturing candid moments and we would like to see you, not your phone! Photos will be available to all guests.
(Copied from the venue website) Michigan law does not allow smoking in areas where food and beverage are being served. That includes our lawn areas, firepits and lodging accommodations. Smoking is allowed in designated areas and on the balcony/patio of your lodging as long as the door is closed. A $250 per person smoke damage fee will be charged if smoke residue or smell is detected in your room.
