FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1, 2025.

Question

Why is there an rsvp for photographs?

Answer

This is to help us organize with our photographer post-ceremony and pre-reception! If you want to take time before the reception to have a photo with us by our photographer, please RSVP 'yes'. We will do our best to make sure we get a photo with you! Priority will be given to the wedding parties and family. Please note that we will still have photos during the reception. We welcome photos being taken on guests' phones, so don't worry about 'missing out'! Guests who do not RSVP for photos can enjoy cocktail hour in the main entry hall of St. David's!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that invitees do not bring an additional guest, unless told otherwise.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests do not bring their kids, unless told otherwise.

Question

Where is the ceremony/reception being held exactly?

Answer

St. David's Episcopal Church has two structures for mass. The larger building is the Chapel, where the ceremony and reception is held. The ceremony will take place in the Chapel. Afterwards, guests will walk through the building to Allen Hall, where the reception will be held. The Church is the historic building, built in 1715, across the street by the graveyard. Weather permitting, photos will be taken both inside and outside the Church.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have wedding blocks set up at two hotels in King of Prussia. Please check the Travel tab for details. Guests are encouraged to find accommodations that best suit their needs.

Question

Is there transport to & from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is not transportation to/from the hotels. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking on the Church grounds. The ceremony and reception are held in the same building, so easy parking!

Question

How early can I arrive/how late can I stay?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive at 9:30 so the ceremony can begin promptly at 10am. We ask that all guests vacate the Hall by 5pm so the space can be cleaned up for regular Sunday worship the following morning.

Question

Can I take photos/videos?

Answer

Yes please! While there will be a professional photographer and videographer, we highly encourage guests to take photos. We just ask that photos during the ceremony are taken without flash as to not disrupt or distract other guests and the priests.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

All items at the reception will be gluten-free, served buffet-style. There will be a red meat and chicken option, alongside salad, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and pasta. If you worried about not being able to eat the provided food (dietary restrictions, allergies, picky eating), please feel free to bring your own food to enjoy!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Wine and beer will be available. No hard liquor is allowed on Church grounds.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal to formal attire. Semi-formal attire: We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates, or a suit and tie. Formal attire: We suggest guests wear a suit in any color or a cocktail dress (or even a nice pantsuit) Please refrain from wearing all white.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

As of right now, the bride and groom do not plan to have an organized party after the reception. Guests are welcome to spend the remainder of the evening as they please, either by spending time exploring the area or relaxing from the long day of fun!

Question

Why do you only have cash funds on your registry?

Answer

The couple has been blessed with most major needs/wants that would typically be on a wedding registry, like dishware, appliances, decor, etc. Anything additional would be unable to be used in the limited space our apartment allows. The cash funds are a fun way for our guests to see that their gift is going towards something specific and fun!
