Things To Do

There are plenty of things to do within 10 minutes of our venue! You can hop on the KC Streetcar (which is free!) right outside Union Station to explore the Crossroads Arts District, Power & Light, and the River Market.

Country Club Plaza

4706 Broadway Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64112

If you have some downtime, be sure to explore the Country Club Plaza! Often called the "Jewel of Kansas City," it’s the perfect place for a pre-wedding stroll. You’ll find world-class shopping, charming sidewalk cafes, and the city's most famous landmark: the J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain. For the best photo op, head to the pedestrian bridge over Brush Creek for a stunning view of the skyline and the Mediterranean-style towers.

Boulevard Brewing Tours & Recreation Center

2534 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64108

Stop by for an official tour, or enjoy the German-style beer hall with stunning views of the Kansas City skyline!

Joe's KC BBQ

3002 West 47th Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66103

A Kansas City barbecue staple! We recommend ordering the Z-Man sandwich, burnt ends and the beans, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Crown Center

Kansas City, MO

Crown Center is a vibrant mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. As the international headquarters of Hallmark Cards, this district features three levels of unique boutiques—including the legendary Halls Kansas City department store—and a variety of restaurants. It’s the perfect home base for the weekend, offering easy access to the city's best attractions via "The Link," a climate-controlled elevated walkway.

Peanut on Main

5000 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64112

If you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall, go to the Peanut on Main. Make sure to try their famous chicken wings!

Union Station Kansas City

30 West Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108

A century-old masterpiece that remains the visual voice of Kansas City. From its legendary Grand Hall to the modern streetcars that stop just outside its front doors, Union Station is the perfect blend of KC’s historic charm and its exciting future. Be sure to walk through the Grand Plaza to truly feel the scale of this Midwestern treasure.
