Is there a dress code?

The dress code is formal/black tie, and we invite you to embrace an elegant all-black color palette, including black dresses, gowns, suits, or tuxedos. Textures, fabrics, and accessories are welcome to make your look uniquely yours while maintaining the all-black theme.

We kindly ask that you join us in an unplugged ceremony. By turning off and putting away phones and cameras, you’ll help us create a space where everyone can fully enjoy and be present in this special moment.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Please plan arrive at Bethel AME Church no later than 3:45 PM. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, and we will be unable to admit late arrivals.

While we adore your little ones, due to guest number restrictions, we kindly request an adults-only celebration unless they are listed on your formal invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we celebrate this special day together.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos nearby for about an hour. Guests are invited to head directly to the reception hall, The Waterfall Events, where finger foods and beverages will be served during cocktail hour.
