Is there a rehearsal dinner? If so, where? What is the dress?

Answer

Yes, there will be rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding (June 17th). Everyone who is invited to the wedding is invited to the rehearsal dinner. It will be held at the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine, which is located at 4730 Dixie Highway. There will be dinner and drinks served. Guests will have access to the museum if you wish to see the variety of classic cars! Visit their web site for more information: https://www.ccmstaug.com. The dress is casual!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors so dress appropriately. You will need to walk on a grass area. The reception will take place indoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. Even though our wedding is in the evening, we want you to be comfortable. Since the ceremony will be held outdoors, we recommend something that will keep you cool in the Florida heat. Additionally, the ceremony will require you to walk on grass. The reception is in an air conditioned room.

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

We recommend you arrive around 6:00 pm for the ceremony. If you are driving, please allow yourself at least 45 minutes to find a parking spot.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. Augustine is a small, historic town and parking is an issue. We recommend you arrive at least 45 minutes early in order to find time for parking. The lots we recommend are the Lightner Museum lot (located behind the museum), the Cordova and Bridge Street lot, or the Trinity Parish Parking lot ($10 charge). What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hopefully, beautiful and perfect!! However, Florida summers can be hot ranging from the mid-8o's to 90's. Summer can be rainy as well. We do have a back-up plan in case it rains. Please dress comfortably for the wedding.

If I stay in historic downtown St. Augustine, how far am I to the beach?

Answer

You are 5 miles from the beach if you stay in downtown St. Augustine (the historic section). We have Uber and Lyft in the area that can get you to the beach.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. We will have dinner, cake and an open bar during the reception.
