Covid-19 Wedding Update

Due to Covid-19, our venue has been cancelled and we have decided to do a small wedding in our backyard with a limited number of guests attending. Then in the future we will have the larger ceremony and reception with all our family and friends that are able to attend. We will continue to update as we know more! Thank you all for being so understanding! We love you very much, and can't wait to celebrate our marriage with everyone!

The Story of Us

First comes school, then comes marriage

Rokas and I met at Eastern Washington in January of 2015. We met at a school event called Library Lights Out. Where our dorm floor and a handful of other floors had the opportunity to stay in the library all night playing fun games and other activities. As soon as I saw him from across the hall I knew I had to get to know this boy. Although that night we didn’t talk as much as I would have liked. A few days passed and eventually, I saw him in the lounge. I wanted to run to my room but Bridgette pulled me into the lounge and he FINALLY noticed me! I left after a little while to do some homework with his lanyard (that I stole) and soon after he came looking for it. I told myself either he takes the lanyard and leaves or he'll stay and not be interested in getting the lanyard back. As you probably guessed it was the latter. He didn't even ask for the lanyard he just sat down and we started talking. That night we talked until 5 am and have never stopped talking since.

We went out to a fancy dinner at Fogo's Brazilian Steakhouse. Oh my gosh, the food was so amazing! We sat and ate for hours. After eating so much Rokas suggested we go out for a walk around the park, to burn off some of those calories we just ate. As we walked around Rokas pretended to drop his coat. As I turned around to see why it was taking so long for him to get back up, he pulled a ring out of his pocket. And I said YES! It was as perfect as I could have imagined and I was completely surprised.
