He's just a boy, and Im just a girl. Can I make it anymore obvious? 🎶 Our love story goes back to a place that we both still have in common! PETCO! Jeremiah had already worked there for a while and I was just hired. I couldn't have known that my next job would be so life changing. It wasn't until a couple months later that I really noticed Jeremiah in a different way than just my merchandise manager. Funny enough, being a girl, I just sent him a Facebook friend request to see if it would go anywhere. When he accepted, I went to my best friend all excited!! I was waiting for him to send the first message... I didnt know that i would be waiting a while 🙄 little did I know, he was waiting for me to make the first move. October 17th, 2016 Jeremiah finally sent the first message! It was pretty much nonstop from there! We defined our relationship on Christmas 2016. We had then met each other's families the next year and seemed to both fit in on both sides, which is something I have thought about for my entire life! 🥰 From there we have had 4 apartments and finally a house ❤️ Houston has been a great move for us! In the first year, Jeremiah had 4 promotions and I had 1! We are thriving and happier than ever!!
In Galveston, at the Moody Gardens Aquarium, they have penguins! Jeremiah and I were doing a meet a penguin experience. They took us into a secluded room to get an up close encounter with one of their penguins. Hendrix was the little guy we got to meet. He painted a picture for us by walking into paint and then walking around on the canvases. After he was done, the biologist who was in charge of the encounter was writing down the information on Hendrix. Once she was done writing, she handed us the two canvases. After admiring the cute art from the penguin, the biologist told us that we could look on the back for his information. Once I flipped the canvas over, there was a paper on the canvas that said "Will you be my forever?" At that point, Jeremiah stood up to get the ring out of his pocket. Once he got it out, he said "Holly Ross, Will you marry me?" As he got down on one knee. I started to tear up but said yes and we kissed and hugged. Until March 21, 2020, June 9th will be the happiest day of my life!
