A laid-back waterfront destination on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Kent Island is the largest island in the Chesapeake Bay and a historic place in Maryland. To the east, the Kent Narrows Channel separates the island from the Delmarva Peninsula. It is located about five miles east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
In the summer, the Bay Bridge typically backs up on Friday afternoons with beach traffic. Please consider adding extra travel time if you plan to arrive on Friday.
