Coffee spot at the west end of main street. Coffee served by grumpy baristas with arm sleeve tattoos.

Bank Square Coffeehouse (coffee)

Upscale (pricey) restaurant in an old industrial building in downtown Beacon. Overlooks a waterfall on the Fishkill Creek

The Roundhouse (lunch/dinner/cocktails)

American & Italian. Good food, wide variety

THE TOMATO CAFE (lunch/dinner)

Unique place serving ramen and other Japanese comfort food. Known for their live music.

Quinn's (lunch/dinner)

Modern American food with large beer selection and cocktails. Site of Heather and Eric’s First Date. Morning after brunch will be here.

Melzingah Tap House (lunch/dinner)

Donut shop where you get to customize your donut – batter, glaze, frosting, sprinkles etc. It’s not just a shtick; the donuts are good too

Downtown Beacon right down the street from the morning-after brunch. This brewery is primarily known for their sours, so definitely check them out if that’s your thing.

Technically still in Beacon, but outside of “downtown.” Many different kinds of IPAs.

Short steep hike up the mountain (~2.4 miles round trip to the main overlook). Big payoff with views of Beacon, The Hudson River, Hudson Highlands, and the Catskill Mountains.
