We had gone to school together for years, then one day, in a shared Digital Media class, we nervously exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Our first official date was none other than Junior year Prom, Sam wore white...coincidence? The following years were filled with blissful weekend visits, school dances with friends, and holidays in Orlando with our families. The long-distance made each small moment together that much more special. And to think Sam was going to switch out of that Digital Media elective.

Our engagement took place in a lovely town in L.A.....Lower Alabama. This town of Enterprise, AL was where Pierre was stationed for flight school and it sure did grow on us quickly. It was the place that Pierre perfected his first back flip, a place where forever friends were made, and our first home that we lived in together during the COVID pandemic. On one of Sam's routine weekend visits, Pierre & friends transformed the back deck with lights, rose petals, and the element of surprise. The night was magical!
