It is all happening in Jamaica!!!

We met in Sears, where we went to change our tires. I was dressed in sweats and my head was tied with a scarf. In other words, I was looking a mess. He tried talking to me and I ignored him. However, when dealing with the store rep I had to give my phone number which he "OVERHEARD" :-) He continued to make small talk being very strategic this time, addressing Jaylen directly. He's a children's lover and has a way with them. Hence, Jay was immediately captivated by his playful demeanor. Jay and I went to McDonald's to get a kids meal. Upon our return, he saw the perfect opportunity when we had a toy that Jay was trying to put together. He assisted and was playing with Jay. He mentioned that he was a cop and I said "sure you are". He kept talking and talking and talking with this accent that was so strong I had no idea what he was saying half the time :-) But something about him was captivating. Needless to say, he made use of my phone number and 10 years later he's still talking with that same accent with the exception that I understand everything that he says.
