You can expect average daily highs to be in the 70s, and for evening temperatures to be much cooler, often dipping into the 40's at this time of year. That being said, mountain weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend checking the forecast before you travel. We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the wedding itself. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and our reception will take place indoors.
The dress code is black tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie, an evening gown, or a midi-length formal dress.
The dress code is dressy casual. Guests can wear a dress shirt with khakis or other slacks (jackets are optional), dressy separates (pants and a blouse), or a dress. Please consider bringing a layering piece such as a jacket or shawl as the temperatures will be cooler on the water.
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only weekend. We appreciate any advanced planning this requires.
We hope to provide some transportation to both the Welcome Party and the Wedding. We are working on this and will update the website when we have more information!
When visiting South Lake Tahoe, give your body time to adjust to the higher altitude. Drink lots of water, take it easy when you first arrive, and avoid intense activities at first. If you feel any headaches or dizziness, rest and hydrate. If you have any health concerns, talk to your doctor before your trip. With a little preparation, you’ll have a great time enjoying South Lake Tahoe!
