A day to remember

Our story starts in high school. We had lots of mutual friends and had even taken a liking to each other a time or two, but never perused anything. Next was college, where our story really begins! There was one moment that sparked it all. Walking through the cafeteria at UCA, Ethan’s eye was caught. This was the first time our paths had officially crossed since high school. From this moment, Ethan decided to peruse me again to see where it led. What started as innocent flirting finally led us to our first date! I still remember every detail like it was yesterday. Ethan picked me up from my house and we went to David’s burgers. It was super casual and fun! There was no stress to keep the conversation going. It was all super peaceful. After dinner, we sat in Ethan’s car for hours in the rain just talking and listening to our favorite songs. It was a perfect evening! From there we began to make many beautiful memories. From our fun puzzle nights, spending time with each other’s families, many beautiful date nights worshiping Jesus together and growing our faith, to the proposal! Our story is a beautiful testament to the glory of God. A beautiful example of trusting God's plan no matter where it leads. We still have a lifetime of memories before us and we are so thankful for God's plan to continue to unfold even in our marriage.
