We first met the summer of Megan’s Junior year and Cameron’s Senior year of high school (August of 2016). We officially started dating in October 2016 and have been inseparable ever since! Dating through high school was so fun, we were able to be each others date to every school dance, go on our weekly sushi dates (which spent almost all of Cam’s Chick Fil A paychecks), and almost everyday asked our teachers “to go to the bathroom” during class to meet up with each other and talk in the hallways lol! It was pretty clear to everyone who knew us that we had fallen hard for one another from the start and we spent as much time together as much as we possibly could. After one year of being together, Cam moved 9 hours away to go to college and play soccer in San Francisco. I fully supported him every step of the way, as hard as it was to be away from my first love and someone who had turned into my absolute best friend, we each made our best efforts to still make our relationship work. We visited each other as much as we could while doing long distance. Fast forward 4.5 years, we made it through the toughest times being 9 hours away from one another, but it truly made us the couple that we are today. We both think we wouldn’t be as strong of a couple as we are now without going through that together. We then lived with our parents for a year and a half to save up after Cam graduated college, and we now are living together in our adorable condo that is close to our families and have our perfect little pup, Koda, who is our baby! This time of our life really is what we’ve worked so hard for together to get to and we are both so happy. We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives, to now become what we’ve dreamt of since we were 16 and 17 years old, husband and wife! 🥂 Now let’s celebrate!
