Like the start of one of our favorite shows, The Office got it right with an office romance; however, IT and Marketing were an unlikely match, sparks flew from the start. Though Mariah might've started with an IT problem that could've been easily fixed, Pierce ensured to keep her at his desk for as long as possible. Right there in the depths of the cubical walls started an unlikely... well, instant admiration for each other. We spent that Spring learning all about one another and finding that we had more in common than ever imagined. A deep understanding, respect, and admiration for each other settled into the pillars of our relationship that quickly blossomed. From then on, it was deep conversations to constant laughter as Pierce and Mariah joined into one home making lasting memories every day. It started with travel plans to NYC, Switzerland, Germany, Orlando, Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas and turned into plans about owning a home, getting married, future kids, and a long lasting future. Taking the next step towards are future never felt more right.
