What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony starts at 5:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2026. Please plan to arrive at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge between 4:45-4:55pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! Our dress code is Festive / Funky / Floral Formal. We all know Melanie loves color, so we joyfully encourage you to express yourself as the work of art you are. Please save your neutrals, blacks, and grays for another time, and please reach for something bright, bold, colorful, patterned, or funky for artsy, Austin vibes! For dress-wearing friends this means a combination of elegant, floor-length or midi-length evening wear with festive, celebratory elements like sequins, velvet, bold colors, or metallic accents. It sits between cocktail and black-tie, aiming for a sophisticated yet party-ready. For suit-wearing folks this means please reach for a bright color suit jacket (it doesn't have to match your suit pants!), a colorful patterned shirt, a funky colored tie, or bold colored suit pants. Have fun with it!

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only event. Private exceptions have been made for the bridal party and family and will be communicated directly. We appreciate your understanding!

Absolutely. Please make note of this on your RSVP under "Reception."

Do you have a hotel block?
Answer
No, we really want you to stay wherever you feel is best for you. Check out our Travel page for some of our favorite spots and recs! Airbnbs are also very easy to find all over Austin. Our best advice is if you want to cut down driving and / or Uber time, (or not sit in I-35 traffic) stay on or south of the river!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! Parking is available near the ceremony site. The entrance to the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge will take you down a long dirt road through the property, and the venue sits at the top of the hill. It's a 2-3 minute drive and parking is available there.
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Transportation is not provided because we did not do a hotel block. Hotels and AirBnbs are so common in Austin that we decided to allow guests to stay wherever they like. Please view our Travel page for some recommendations!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes! Please see your invitation. We are inviting everyone to join us for Welcome Drinks at Central Machine Works on Thursday, April 23 from 8:30-10:30pm.
