How we met 🖤 Both Julia and Ryan grew up in Keller, Texas, surrounded by mutual friends, going to the same church, and living parallel lives without ever actually meeting. That all changed at a crawfish boil hosted by two of their childhood friends (shoutout to Sydney & Brandon!). What seemed like a casual get-together, turned out to be the beginning of everything. With a little help from friends (and maybe a little fate), they were finally introduced. Julia made the first move, and Ryan thought she was out of his league. But from that moment on, everything just felt easy. From endless phone calls to romantic dates, that connection quickly turned into love. The Proposal On Christmas Eve, surrounded by Julia’s entire family, Ryan gave her a gift she’d never forget. Inside a white Tecovas cowboy boot was a ring box. When she opened it, completely shocked and overwhelmed with emotion, Ryan got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. It was the most magical, joy-filled night! Why Raleigh "We chose to get married in Raleigh, North Carolina; a place that quickly became special to us after Julia’s older sister Natalie and brother-in-law Robby recently moved there. After visiting, we completely fell in love with the area and knew it would be the perfect place to say “I do.” We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!!
