Question

What can I expect of Fredericksburg weather in April?

Answer

In April, you can expect mild temperatures with daytime highs around the mid-70s and cooler evenings in the 50s (but it's Texas so who knows). It’s a beautiful time of year, but unpredictable, so packing layers to stay comfortable in varying temperatures is a good idea.

Question

Will there be transportation for wedding events?

Answer

All the wedding festivities will be conveniently located on the property so there’s no need for additional transportation to and from the wedding events.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We’re planning an unforgettable weekend filled with fun and relaxation! To keep the vibe chill and carefree, we’re keeping this event for adults only. Think of it as a chance to unwind and enjoy the festivities without any little ones around. Thanks for understanding—we can’t wait to have an amazing time with you!

Question

What is there to do in Fredericksburg?

Answer

There will be plenty of time Saturday and Sunday during the day for you to explore Fredericksburg. We’ve put together a list of our favorite spots and activities on the “Things to Do” tab. Whether you’re into outdoor adventures, tasting some vino, or antique hunting, there’s something for everyone. Check it out to make the most of your time in this charming town!

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time! Here’s what to wear for our weekend events: Boots are highly encouraged! The grounds are a mix of gravel and grass, and since we share the property with a herd of free-roaming sheep and a very cute donkey (Paco), you might encounter a natural surprise or two. Consider this your friendly warning—and also your stylish excuse to rock your best boots! Friday Movie Night Come as you are for a cozy, casual evening under the stars. Dress comfortably and warm for the cooler evening weather. Saturday Catfish Fry Throw on your cowboy boots for a relaxed outdoor evening of good food and great company. Jeans are more than welcome, no need to get too fancy. Sunday Evening Think "Prairie Chic" - this means mostly cocktail attire with a casual early American flare. (and of course, boots are encouraged!) Outfit mood board here if you need a little inspiration - tinyurl.com/weddinglewks **And don't forget to bring a light jacket or sweater in case of chilly evenings.**
