We’re Getting Married!

We met through a mutual friend of ours on April 2nd, 2017. Katie just came back from a cruise through the Caribbean and Brandon was living in Lafayette at the time. Then their friend Brandon Long invited them to come over to hang out where they met for the first time. We all went over to Falls Park in Pendleton, IN and spent the day together. After that day was over, Brandon knew he wanted to get to know Katie better and he had hoped she felt the same.

After dating for 2 amazing years and some change, Brandon decided it was time to ask Katie to be his wife. He decided to go back to the place where it all began, Falls Park. Brandon had spent several weeks planning for the proposal with Katie's parents. The plan was that Brandon and Katie would go out shopping and spend the day together while Katie's family set everything up. The date ended by Katie and Brandon going to Falls Park to see luminaries. Once they arrived the two walked down the path and over the bridge of luminaries. At the end of the path, the luminaries lit up saying: "Will you marry me?". Brandon then got down on one knee and proposed.
