The summer before Axton met May, he spent his time in Orlando Florida with the discipleship program he was apart of! He spent the summer involved in community and sharing the Gospel!

The summer before May met Axton, she spent it at Camp Oakridge - her second home! The past few summers she learned her love for ministry and God created a second family for her there.

Axton’s sister and cousin, Ainsley and June! (May’s favorite campers) Axton and May met on this day, July 19th, 2024. Ainsley, June, and Andyn played matchmaker.

Axton and Maylee’s first date in Oklahoma City! Maylee was very hesitant at first, but Axton insisted this would be worth her time. ;)

Second date at the Wildlife Refuge in the Witchita mountains! Maylee’s favorite place.

Third date at the zoo. Maylee’s bestfriend Taylor joined them that day, Taylor said, “he’s a keeper.” She decided to listen. :)

Fourth date! Axton showed May around Edmond Oklahoma, little did she know she’d be living here!

After weeks of prayer and “pros & cons” lists, May made the decision to move to Oklahoma City where she desired to pursue ministry full-time while living with a sweet friend she met at Oakridge!

Move-in day. Axton was very helpful. May knew he was her bestfriend.

Another month went by, and Axton officially asked May to be his girlfriend! They remained bestfriends through the tough times and adjustments as May was getting used to Oklahoma City.

Axton planned the most fun dates. :)

They shared their love for Shrek! Axton knew May was his future wife as soon as he saw this shirt on her. Lol.

Maylee spent lots of time going back and fourth to Texas. She enjoyed being on the worship team at Grayson College with all of her bestfriends.
