Christopher and Danielle met at the tender age of two at the finger-painting station in Ms. Marie's pre-k classroom. While Chris and the Picerni clan eventually moved to bucolic Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Danielle prospered in New York; fine-tuning her big Queens accent and whip-smart personality in Ozone Park before moving to Manhattan for graduate school at NYU. Fast forward to present day—after a state championship and a brief stint in foggy London town, New York City came calling for Chris and with a well-timed Facebook message, he came calling for Danielle.
