Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles departing for the ceremony at 3:45 PM from the Holiday Inn - Manahawkin. Another shuttle will pick up guests at Drifting Sands Hotel at 4:00 PM

Will there be transportation after the reception?

Answer

Yes! Two shuttles will arrive at 11:00 PM to take guests to whatever hotel or accommodation they'd like on LBI (just tell the drivers where!). A third shuttle will transport guests to the after party at Bird & Betty's. At the end of the night, that shuttle will also transport guests to whatever hotel or accommodation they like on LBI (again, just let the driver know!). The shuttle will leave Bird & Betty's after last call at 2:00 AM.

Can I park my car at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you choose to drive to the venue for the ceremony and celebrations, you are welcome to park your car at the Brant Beach Yacht Club parking lot located onsite. Cars can stay in the lot until 10 AM Sunday morning.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will have the best of both! The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Brant Beach Yacht Club's private beach (weather permitting), followed by an outdoor cocktail hour on the club's patio and deck. The reception will be indoors, but guests will have access to the outdoor patio, beach, and decks throughout the evening.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Since parts of the wedding will take place outdoors, we recommend dressing accordingly, including shoes suitable for sand and decking.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only children attending will be from our close family. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun night out with us!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Septembers in Long Beach Island are typically mild and pleasant (the best time of the year!). Average temperatures range from mid-60s to low 70s during the day and can cool down in the evening. Since part of our celebration will be outdoors, we recommend dressing comfortably for the season and bringing a light layer just in case. Keep an eye on the forecast as the date approaches!

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

We want all our guests to enjoy the meal! If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know when you RSVP or you can reach out to Bailey or Mike directly. We will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Manahawkin, located just off the island. Head to the "Travel" section of this website for more details.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not! We kindly request no gifts for our wedding. Celebrating with you is what we care about the most! If you want to bring or send something, we would treasure a card with your well wishes!
