One of our favourite easy hikes in Chiang Mai. A brisk hike through the woods that ends in a hidden temple.
Wat Doi Suthep
This temple is the Essence of the City! You can either hike there from Wat Pha Lat or take a taxi for easy access.
Wat Umong
Enjoy the lush temple, old ruins and meditation tunnel.
Kew Mae Pan Hiking Trail
One of our favorite easy hikes in Chiang Mai located in Doi Inthanon (Inthanon Mountain). A local Hmong guide is required to hike this trail, their service can be requested at the trail head for 7 USD.
Yod Doi Nature Trail/Ang Ka nature trail
Enjoy this lush, easy trail around the summit of Doi Inthanon
Royal Park Rajapruek
Enjoy biking around this beautiful botanical garden in Chiang Mai. Walking not recommended (the park is huge! and the exhibits are spaced pretty largely apart.)
Twin Royal Pagoda
Enjoy the Twin Royal Pagoda and garden in Chiang Mai located in Doi Inthanon. Be aware of the entrance fee.
Mae Kampong Village
A local village an hour outside of the city with waterfalls, temples, and cute cafes, we recommend setting aside a whole day to explore if you intend to visit!

Visit this cute craft market in Chiang Mai! This is one of many, so definitely take some time to explore other options if this is your speed.
Chiang Mai Local Night Market(weekends only)-Wua Lai on Saturdays, Tha Phae on Sundays
If your stay in Chiang Mai falls on a weekend, these two night Markets are great options. Located along a 1km walking street, the market offers a full selection of street foods and crafts. Very busy, lively, and bustling - careful not to get separated from your group! Buatong Waterfall Chiang Mai
