We met at the crackhouse - AKA Cracker Barrel. I was a cook and Josh was a dishwasher. We flirted a few times but I thought Josh was a "bad boy" so I didn't give him a second thought. It was actually a year later that he messaged me and asked me out. I said yes and he became my best friend that first date.......

Josh had a canvas painted by Steve Wilson, one of my favorite artists. It has a night sky with lots of trees and a giant Phoenix bird. There is even a cardinal representing John perched on a branch. When you shine a black light onto the flames of the tail of the Phoenix bird, it says "Will you marry me?"
