Eira and Phoenix have a long history together. Having met in first grade - through the encouragement of their parents - the two never wavered in their love for each other through years. Even through moving away and life's struggles, they always found a way to keep in touch and make time for each other. Though Eira hadn't met Robbie right away, she could see the positive influence and change he was bringing to her friend's life and knew that he was a special addition for Phoenix. Eira even got see the respect that Robbie holds for others through his willingness to give the two friends personal time whenever Eira visits.

Daniel has been Robbie's friend since the 1st grade. He's held dear the (safe for public) moments when the two would pop fireworks near Robbie's home as kids and going to concerts in downtown Denver and, of course, seeing one of their childhood heroes - Bruce Campbell - live. He says that Phoenix "was always awesome" even though the two have only talked a few times.

Selah is a younger cousin of Phoenix's. While seeing each other between family events was hard, the two would always found each other during those events. Selah looked up to Phoenix, whom she looked up to and saw as the "classic older cousin"; supportive and fun and of course teasing of when Selah would get a boyfriend. Selah loves how happy that quiet Robbie has made her cousin and has always loved hearing about their lives together at holiday celebrations with the family.
Sonny Rayas

Sonny is Robbie's little brother and the second oldest of the kids. His favorite memory with Robbie is playing sports out in the back yard and fighting over the remote or video games. He sees how well the couple gets along and how protective Robbie is over Phoenix. Sonny expresses that after not hanging out in a long time, he misses the two very much.

Jessie, who works for a cemetary, and Phoenix had a unique meeting as it was over face timing through Covid. But these two didn't let that stop them from becoming friends who spent their time lifting each other up through Mortuary school and cheering each other on to succeed. Jessie met Robbie's wax head before actually meeting the groom, which the creepy cherry on top of a lovely horror bond that Jessie and Phoenix share.

While working at a hospital, Lindsey was drawn to Phoenix's kindness, even just over the phone. And when it came time for looking for her internship, knew that Spangler Mortuary, where Phoenix was working, was the place to be. A decision that led to the two becoming strong friends. With the addition of Robbie at her birthday, the couple made Lindsey's birthday that birthday of going to the tequila bar and seeing Gabriel Iglesias the best birthday she's had in a long a time and see the pair as a couple of keepers in her life.
