What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal dress code, however please note that the event will be held in a grass back yard, so you may want to be mindful of footwear. It would also be good to bring some layers in case it's chilly.

Where should we fly in?

Answer

The easiest airport to fly into is Hartford Bradley International Airport, and then the next closest would be the New York City airports. Bradley: 1 hour 20 min (recommended, no tolls) JFK: 1 hour 40 min (toll roads) Laguardia: 1 hour 20 min (toll roads)

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend checking out B&Bs in the beautiful Candlewood Lake region, or booking a nearby Airbnb, hotel, or motel. The closest city is Danbury, CT, and is about a 20-30 minute drive. We recommend looking up the driving distance on Google Maps before booking.

Where should we park?

Answer

Edgewood Drive has a cul-de-sac that can fit a fair number of cars, but we recommend carpooling where possible. If Edgewood Dr is full, the backup option is parking on neighboring Ledge Lane, or in the nearby public beach lot (Lynn Deming) and we could help shuttle back and forth. Feel free to let Phoebe know where you are planning to stay, and we can help coordinate carpools.
