Things To Do

Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours

Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours

465 North McClurg Court, Chicago, IL 60611

This is #1 on every list of 'things to do in Chicago' for a reason -- it really is that great! We have done this multiple times and always learn something new about our favorite city.

Chicago Riverwalk

Chicago Riverwalk

Chicago, IL 60601

Enjoy the Chicago Riverwalk with tons of restaurants, wineries, and places to sit! Great people watching - we always take the river path whenever possible.

Millennium Park

Millennium Park

Chicago, IL 60602

During the summer Millennium puts on all kinds of free shows and events - they have one of the most beautiful lawns to sit and enjoy! Highly recommend BYOCB (bring your own charcuterie board) for any of their nightly events, or going to their morning workout classes. This was Owie's (Phoebe's grandma) favorite spot!

Chicago Air and Water Show

Chicago Air and Water Show

Our wedding is on Chicago Air and Water show weekend, so we highly recommend getting outside and enjoying some of the show! Anywhere near the lake (Oak Street Beach, Fullerton Avenue, and North Avenue Beach) provides a great view.

Ema

Ema

74 West Illinois Street, Chicago, IL 60654

Ema is one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago - we went there the night we got engaged to celebrate! They also have a partner restaurant in West Loop called Aba that is equally great.

Pequod's Pizza

Pequod's Pizza

2207 North Clybourn Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614

If you are wanting to try deep dish pizza, Pequod's Pizza is our favorite. They are famous for a very thick, caramelized crust.

Farm Bar Lakeview

Farm Bar Lakeview

1300 West Wellington Avenue, Chicago, IL 60657

Another one of our favorite restaurants! All farm-to-table dishes with a rotating seasonal menu, you truly cannot go wrong here!
