Phoebe and Liz were married on november 4, 2023

Phoebe and Liz met in New York City, at the library on their first day of grad school. Phoebe was struggling to print out a scholarly article (or a return label for her Sephora order, but who’s to say), and Liz was kind enough to point out that yes, she was in fact doing it wrong, and yes, they would help her fix it. They became fast friends and eventually realized they were meant to be something more. The rest is history! (Liz is still in charge of everything technology related.)

Liz proposed to Phoebe in July 2022 at one of their favorite places, Great Rock Bight, on Martha’s Vineyard where Phoebe grew up. Phoebe proposed back to Liz that August, with the help of their favorite band Caamp, at the Beach Road Music Festival.
