Like many couples these days, we met on an app. What makes our story a little more serendipitous is that we lived across the country. Karson was living in Phoenix and thinking about moving to Seattle when, on a whim, he changed his app location to a 5-mile radius that just happened to include Phoebe’s apartment. Fate had stepped in. After matching and talking for a while, Karson visited Seattle. That first in-person connection was promising in a way that felt too important to ignore. They made plans to meet in Utah a few weeks later. It was in Utah that a future together appeared on the horizon. Phoebe and Karson took turns visiting each other until finally, just a few short months later, Karson packed up his car (with his dog Harley in the backseat) and drove north to start a brand-new chapter.
